Kevin Auses joined Auerbach Pollock Friedlander in 2003. His background in theatrical production brings hands on experience to his work associated with the design and implementation of automated rigging and scenery handling systems, and knowledge of structural design for the theatre.
Auses, who received a BFA from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, has worked on a wide variety of projects, including project management and rigging systems supervision for the 15,000 seat Auditorium and broadcast center currently under construction at the Rexburg, Idaho campus of Brigham Young University. Other representative work includes the Central Los Angeles Learning Center, Los Angeles, California; California Shakespeare Theatre Renovation and Master Plan, Orinda, California; the Drew School, Assembly Wing, San Francisco, California; the Conrad Prebys Music Center at the University of California, San Diego, LaJolla, California; the Clovis Veterans Memorial District Center Clovis, California; the Colburn Conservatory, Phase II Expansion, Los Angeles, California; Sonoma Academy, Sonoma, California; Prospect Sierra School, El Cerrito, California; and the University of Washington Playhouse Theater Renovation, Seattle, Washington.
Matthew Ezold joined Auerbach Pollock Friedlander in 2001, bringing experience as a theatrical sound designer, production manager and facilities manager with a background in construction methods and materials. His design experience includes sound reinforcement and recording systems, computer playback systems, paging and communication systems, show control systems, closed circuit television and modulated video systems, theatrical lighting systems and theatrical rigging/staging systems.
Ezold, who received a BFA from The New York University Tisch School of the Arts and is a Certified Technology Specialist with Infocomm International, has project experience that includes improvements to facilities at The Public Theater, New York, New York; The New Hampshire Music Festival Center for Music in Center Harbor; the United Therapeutics Campus Auditorium, Silver Spring, Maryland; the Virginia Tech University Henderson Hall renovation and new Black Box Theater, Blacksburg, Virginia; Cooper Union's New Academic Building Auditorium, New York, New York; the MGM CityCenter Haze Nightclub, Las Vegas, Nevada; and the sound video and communications systems portion of the MGM CityCenter Viva ELVISTM Cirque du Soleil Theatre, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Howard Glickman has worked in almost all aspects of the theatre industry including technical, administration, education, construction and equipment sales. He joined Auerbach Pollock Friedlander in 2004.
Glickman, who graduated from Oberlin College in 1992 with a BA in Theatre and Political Science, has project experience with the firm that includes project management for the Conservatory of Music at Mount Royal University, Calgary, Canada; the renovation of the Jeannik Méquet Littlefield Concert Hall at Mills College, Oakland, California and the Kennedy Theatre expansion and Asian Theatre Center at the University of Hawaii, Manoa; and the Pearl Concert Theatre at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Other work focusing on Mr. Glickman's expertise in theatrical lighting systems planning and design includes Cirque du Soleil's ZAIATM Theatre at the Venetian Resort Casino, Macao, China; the MGM Mirage, Cirque du Soleil LOVETM Theatre, Las Vegas, Nevada; and MGM's CityCenter Viva ELVISTM Cirque du Soleil Theatre, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Robert Hill joined Auerbach Pollock Friedlander's San Francisco office in 2006, working as project manager, senior consultant and designer. He brings more than fifteen years of technical theatre and theatrical lighting design experience to the firm, including work on over 100 operas for the San Francisco Opera and the Houston Grand Opera, among others.
Hill, who graduated with highest honors from the University of Illinois in 1987 with a BA in Theatre Design, has also completed Master Studies at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. His project experience includes project management for the Feather Falls Casino Event Center in Oroville, California; "The Show" Concert Theatre at the Agua Caliente Casino, Rancho Mirage, California; and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, San Francisco, California. Additional project work incudes the Musical Instruments Museum, Phoenix, Arizona; Brigham Young University Auditorium, Rexburg, Idaho; Feather Falls Event Center in Oroville, California; "The Pearl" Concert Theatre at the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada; Epic Systems Corporation Conference Center, Verona, Wisconsin; MGM City Center, Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada; and the Trollwood Amphitheatre, Fargo, North Dakota.
