Bandit Lites Adds Technicians Alex Becker and Jamie Sullivan to HQ Staff

KNOXVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites noted the addition of lighting technicians Alex Becker and Jamie Sullivan to the company’s staff based at its headquarters location in Knoxville, TN. Becker and Sullivan are providing support by prepping sales installations, local touring shows and performing moving lights maintenance. They also cover all aspects of productions for events centering around the area.

Upon his graduation from Jacksonville State University with a B.A. in Technical Theatre, Becker joined the Smoky Mountain Opry as lighting director. He then became the Head Electrician for national tours including Sesame Street Live and Assistant Electrician for “Elf: The Musical” National Tour.

“Throughout my lighting career, I have always had respect for Bandit and strived to one day work for the company,” said Becker. “I love how Bandit shows pride and exceptional quality in their product and leaves no detail behind. I am so excited to be joining the Bandit family.”

Prior to joining Bandit, Sullivan worked as a stagehand and fly rail operator in addition to being a Technical Director for the University of Tennessee’s opera. Now with Bandit, he shared the best part of his job is the comradery of the Bandit Family, a sentiment echoed by Allison Burchett, Bandit’s Director of Philanthropy and Production Manager.

“Alex is great on a console and always cool under pressure,” she said, “And Jamie comes to us with several years of experience as a local stagehand crew chief, making him a natural leader. It is great to have them both on the team.”
