After three months of beta testing, concertshop.store has launched to serve the North American market. The online store, founded by live event industry veteran Mike Aug, focuses its offerings on personal equipment, high quality work clothing, accessories and supplies.
More details from Concert Shop (www.concertshop.store):
“These are the items that the employer might expect you to have when you show up to work, but not necessarily provide for you.”, says Mike. He continues, “Everyone should have a decent pocketknife or a multitool, a reliable flashlight, quality rain gear, and a set of black pants that you can actually work in”.
The boutique store was created with the idea that seasoned professionals and novice workers alike would prefer to purchase their personal equipment at a store that backs their offerings with hands-on experience. “We only sell products we believe in and have personal experience with,” Aug states. “We’re not finding the cheapest knick-knack to post on the site. The gear we sell is the same gear my crews and I use.”
A few of Concert Shop’s current product lines include: 5.11 Tactical flashlights and backpacks, Blaklader Workwear, Fusion Climbing helmets and accessories, Rite in the Rain notepads and pens, NITECORE flashlights and headlamps, Elite First Aid kits, SOG multitools and KEY-BAK working at height accessories. They continually evaluate new and existing products to enhance the store’s collection.
Additionally, Mike and his team know that people who work hard deserve to play hard. The “Off the Clock” section includes products that are perfect for when it’s time to relax, such as La Siesta hammocks, KA-BAR bottle openers and even Tactical Sporks!
Mike strongly believes in the importance of supporting the live event industry, especially during this unprecedented time. To that end, Concert Shop has partnered with the Behind the Scenes Foundation to become a Pledge-a-Product Partner. “This industry has supported our families for decades. We strongly believe in the work that the Behind the Scenes Foundation does to assist entertainment technicians in need. So, when we decided that we wanted to give back, it was an easy choice to partner with BTS”, Mike stated. But instead of a single product, Concert Shop has decided that a percentage of proceeds from the entire Blaklader Workwear line will be donated to Behind the Scenes. “We feel really great about being able to help make a difference within our industry.” Mike said.
