JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – After a busy start to 2010, DWR Distribution has appointed three new staff members – two joining the technical support crew, and one addition to the office and admin team. Judd Harrison comes onboard as technical support, where he joins DWR's Bruce Riley, Nick Britz and Eazy Moketsi. Harrison's experience in electronics engineering includes five years with Tadco, where he specialized in systems integration, and previous work in Cape Town.
Derek Kruger has been named the new workshop manager at DWR's Strijdom Park headquarters. Kruger, who has spent most of his career in service and repair, most recently worked for rental company Sound Stylists. Before that, he worked on a freelance basis.
Nicolet Britz, who will combine some reception duties with general administration, has an Entertainment Technology Diploma from the Pretoria Technikon, (now the Tshwane University of Technology), and has worked as a stage manager, sound and lighting operator, and makeup and hair stylist.
