EDI Facility Closes; Production Shifting to Cooper Controls Facility in Burlington, VT

HILLSBORO, OR – Cooper Controls announced that Electronics Diversified Inc. (EDI), which made many Cooper-distributed products including the MX High Density Dimming Rack, has closed its facility here. Cooper Controls also said it has been working with EDI to transition the manufacture of power and dimming equipment to Cooper's Burlington, VT facility, where many of the iLumin and Greengate controls products are built.

 

Prior to this closure of the EDI facility in Hillsboro, OR on Nov. 29, Cooper Controls said it built inventory of many of the existing orders and is working toward a seamless transition.

 

Cooper Controls said it would be conducting a full product evaluation to determine the final product portfolio with the goal of being fully operational by March 1, 2011.
