RICHMOND, VA — Eurotruss, based in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, has opened a sales and customer support office in Richmond, VA for the company’s truss and rigging products led by industry veteran Jeff Broitman.
“Eurotruss’ business has grown in the U.S. market, and the customers appreciate the U.S.-made products and the ability to deal direct with the manufacturer,” Kuyper said. “Our focus on quality, support and fair pricing gives us an excellent fit with the American market, with a strong local presence offering the best possible support to our customers.
“We are fortunate to have Jeff Broitman leading our office, as he is well-known and very experienced working in the U.S. truss market for over 32 years,” added Frank Schrage, head of global sales. “Jeff will ensure seamless communication with our customers and help us to develop our business even further.”
Since 1981, Broitman has worked closely with entertainment lighting and truss systems and has become a specialist in transitioning European systems for their successful use in the entertainment and exhibition markets in the Americas. Ranging from Meroform, a well-known German spaceframe system, to Optikinetics/Trilite, and in recent years, establishing Milos/QuickTruss in the Americas, Broitman is well prepared for the new task of making Eurotruss a leading brand in the U.S. and Canada, the company noted.
“I am excited to partner with and be a part of the Eurotruss team,” said Broitman, calling their company culture, values, attention to quality and safety “stellar.” He also cited the advantages of having products “readily available and produced at the Knoxville, TN factory” for U.S. and Canadian customers. “Customers will now have the ability match their needs and budget with a proven manufacturer of plated, conical, fork trussing and even custom fabrication.”
