He will focus on sales in Europe, the Middle East, Russia, India and Africa, with improving visibility and increasing market penetration as further goals. Fons’ previous stint at High End Systems ran from 2003 to 2010 as European sales director.

AUSTIN, TX – Entertainment lighting and control manufacturer High End Systems announces that Fons de Vreede has rejoined the company as business development manager, digital lighting division. His job responsibilities will focus on sales of the HES digital product line in Europe, the Middle East, Russia, India and Africa, with improving visibility and increasing market penetration as further goals.
He comments, “I am looking forward to working with High End Systems again, promoting this highly exciting digital lighting product line. I am confident that existing and new customers will both be very excited by the new products we’ll be introducing this year.”
De Vreede is a 30-year veteran of the entertainment industry. He was employed by Flashlight Sales BV from 1983 through 2000; he next performed a three-year stint as project manager for NOB Decor, where he was responsible for installation of lighting systems, trussing and sets in parts of Walt Disney Studios in Paris.
In 2003 Fons joined High End Systems as European sales director, where over the next five years he managed the European sales of the company’s digital lighting and control innovations. In 2010, de Vreede was offered a consulting job with Walt Disney Imagineering, working on show design and production management for A/V projects on two new Disney Cruise Line ships. With his projects complete in mid 2012, Fons was eager to return to a role in sales, and coming home to HES was a natural move.
