LAS VEGAS – Five years ago, FTSI more than quintupled its space, from 5,000 square feet to a 27,000 square foot facility. The expansion allowed the automation firm to support effects such as those used for productions like Le Reve and Phantom of the Opera. The company recently doubled is footprint, taking possession of adjacent space. Now with 54,000 square feet, FTSI said that major projects can be mocked up entirely on site. The extra elbow room will also allow for an expansion in manufacturing throughput for both mechanical and electrical systems, and the company said the extra space will also help it store its range of automation products for immediate delivery.

FTSR, the rental company for FTSI products, has also tripled its warehouse space, which should help it respond even more rapidly to the needs of the special events, motion picture and theater sectors.
