TOKYO – GDS (Global Design Solutions) named PRG KK as its exclusive distributor for Japan. PRG (Production Resource Group) is a distributor with offices in the U.K., Europe, China, Japan and South Africa. PRG KK will add GDS to other brands it represents, including Philips Vari*Lite, Clay Paky and Syncrolite. "We are looking forward to establishing a long and successful partnership," said Matt Lloyd, managing director at GDS. Yuji Tanaka, sales manager PRG KK, also welcomed the agreement, crediting GDS' LiteWare fixtures in particular for their ability to meet the needs of architects, event producers and others who can benefit from cordless, weather-resistant LED fixtures.
