Harman Professional Promotes Thomas Marcher To Lead Greater Asia Sales Operations
NORTHRIDGE, CA — Harman Professional announced the promotion of Thomas Marcher to lead all sales and support operations for its professional audio and lighting technologies in the Greater Asia region. Marcher, who was deeply involved in the establishment and continued development of Harman Professional’s Asia Regional Sales Office (RSO), will now take on the additional operational responsibility for Harman Professional’s Singapore-based Martin Professional team. In doing so, he will report directly to Scott Robbins, Harman Professional Executive Vice President of Sales, who made today’s announcement.
“I am very pleased to put a leader of Thomas Marcher’s caliber in place to lead sales operations for Harman Professional in the Greater Asia region,” Robbins said today. “Thomas has proven himself again and again and I have deep confidence he will prove himself to be an excellent leader and organizer of our teams in Asia and, equally, an excellent partner and resource for our distributors and customers in the region.”
Thomas Marcher joined Crown Audio as Sales Director, Asia in 2008 and has since held successively more senior roles in Harman Professional’s Asia sales operations. Prior to joining Harman, Marcher held Asia regional positions with TC Electronic and Klotz Digital. A native of Denmark, he began his career with TC Electronic in Denmark in 1996 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Underscoring its commitment to provide channel partners and customers around the world with the most comprehensive and effective e-commerce resources, Harman Professional today announced the promotion of Chris Vice to the newly-created position of Manager, Global E-Commerce. Reporting to Jay Woolley, Director of Marketing, Harman Signal Processing, Chris Vice immediately assumes responsibility for ensuring Harman Professional’s e-commerce initiatives address the business needs and ambitions of channel partners, customers and other stakeholders.
Commenting on the appointment, Jay Woolley noted, “Chris Vice’s market knowledge, and can-do attitude has resulted in a great track record of adaptability throughout his career at Harman Professional. I am confident that he will prove equal to this new challenge we have set out for him and that in doing so, he will ensure our channel partners and customers are served well.”
An 18-year veteran of Harman Professional, Chris Vice takes up his new position having previously served as National Training Coordinator for Harman Professional. Prior to that he was Program Controller for Harman’s successful STEP Change Program and Web Coordinator for Crown Audio. Chris Vice is a Bachelor of Science candidate in Information Technology from WGU Indiana, and holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering from ITT Technical Institute. He also holds several trade and technical certifications.
