CASTEL GOFFREDO, Italy – Luci Della Ribalta (LDR), based here, said its Canto followspots and related LDR products, including Xpress 21 color scrollers, would be distributed by Atlanta, GA-based Canto USA starting Aug. 1, 2013. The company’s products will no longer by distributed by Ballantyne-Strong, LDR added.

The change has been necessary to answer the growing demand in the US for LDR products, particularly for the Canto followspots and the Xpress 21 color scroller, Besio added. “Our customer base is very demanding and expects from our distributor the same high level of quality and service that are representative of our products.”
Atlanta-based CantoUSA has been founded with the specific aim of providing quality products and service to the professional entertainment industry, Besio said.
“This is a new beginning and we are now ready to face new challenges. Through the support of Canto USA we are determined to expand our product offerings for the US market, to include more products from our vast production range.”
Now with more than 70 luminaires in the range, some including the latest LED technology, LDR offers a choice of plano and pebble convex luminaires, Fresnel luminaires, TH and discharge profiles, floodlights and followspots.
LDR products have been chosen for some of the world’s most prestigious entertainment venues including the Oslo Opera House and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and can be seen on display at all major international live entertainment exhibitions throughout the world.
