LED Source Promotes Dorel Baila to Director Entertainment Sales

WELLINGTON, FL –LED Source has promoted Dorel Baila to Director of Entertainment Sales. He will oversee LED Source’s entertainment division, which specializes in LED lighting solutions for nightclubs, TV/film, staging and production, houses of worship and theme parks. He will also oversee sales for the Coemar LED product line, distributed exclusively by LED Source. Baila has been with LED Source since 2007.

WELLINGTON, FL — LED Source has promoted Dorel Baila to Director of Entertainment Sales.

“Dorel has earned this position through good old fashioned hard work,” said LED Source president and CEO Marcel Fairbairn. “Our clients love him, and quite frankly, we reserved this position for when he was ready. That time is now!”

Baila said, “I appreciate the company having the faith in me to give me this new promotion. I live and breathe LED lighting, and love this company and especially our clients. I intend to bring the same passion and effort to this position as I have in the past.”

In his new role, he will oversee LED Source’s entertainment division, which specializes in LED lighting solutions for nightclubs, TV and film, staging and production, houses of worship and theme parks. Baila will continue to work out of the company’s new Wellington, FL, headquarters and will manage additional entertainment salespeople. He will also oversee sales for the Coemar LED product line, which is distributed exclusively by LED Source.

Baila has been with LED Source since 2007, making him one of the company’s longest-tenured employees. He came on board as the company’s first shipping manager. In the five years since, he has earned several promotions and eventually worked his way up to the position of entertainment sales associate. In this position, he led the company in individual sales, exceeding $1.1 million in his first full year on the job.

Baila previously worked in the hospitality industry, and in several nightclubs and bars in various positions. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2003 and also has experience in the finance industry, having worked as a commodity futures broker after graduation.
