SYRACUSE, NY — J.R. Clancy, based here, named Matthew M. Mullen as its new domestic sales manager, effective Nov. 4, 2013. Prior to J.R. Clancy, Mullen served as VP at Beck Studios, where he was responsible for 40% of their annual sales and supervised the installation of big renovation projects including the Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio, and Alfred University in upstate New York. He has close to 30 years experience in the rigging field and is an ETCP-certified rigger.

J. R. Clancy Announces New Domestic Sales Manager
SYRACUSE, NY — J. R. Clancy, Inc., today announced that Matthew M. Mullen will join the company’s staff on November 4 in the position of Domestic Sales Manager.
Matt brings extensive project management and sales experience to Clancy. In his most recent position as vice president of Beck Studios, Inc., he was responsible for 40 percent of annual sales, as well as for negotiating and estimating large contracts, establishing budgets and specifications with architects and consultants, and building working relationships with clients. He supervised the installation of projects including the Heinz Hall renovation in Pittsburgh, Penn., the Hullman Center in Terra Haute, Ind., the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio, and Alfred University in upstate New York.
Earlier in his career, Mullen supervised the installation of counterweight and motorized rigging systems. He is an ETCP Certified Rigging Professional.
