Matrix Group has a base in pro audio and has expanded this year into lighting distribution and sales, with PR Lighting becoming its latest acquisition. This will be PR Lighting’s introduction to the Danish market and Matrix CEO Kenneth Bremer anticipates a high demand, both from touring/rental companies as well as mid-range market installation contractors and TV production crews.

LOSNING, Denmark – The recently formed Matrix Group has taken on the exclusive Danish distribution of PR Lighting’s automated discharge and LED lighting portfolio, with immediate effect.
Established in early 2011 to harness and strengthen the respected companies, Nordic Sales & Staging, Signal Audio and Moto Audio Sales, Matrix Group provides a powerful distribution partner for many international manufacturers. From a base in pro audio it has expanded this year into lighting distribution and sales, with PR Lighting becoming its latest acquisition.
Commenting on the move, Matrix CEO Kenneth Bremer said, “As part of our strategy we wanted a brand that had a broad and well-made range of lighting products — that was both affordable and had professional specs.
“I asked several people for recommendations and we were introduced to Cui Lin at PR Lighting. We quickly realized the mutual benefits to be had by starting a partnership as they met all the criteria within that price segment.
“There are few Chinese lighting manufacturers with the skills that PR Lighting offers and it was this quality that really caught our eye. It is very cool to be representing a brand that can supply such a large range of high end products with these advanced feature sets.”
This will be PR Lighting’s introduction to the Danish market and Bremer anticipates a high demand, both from touring/rental companies as well as mid-range market installation contractors and TV production crews.
PR Lighting will join a brand roster managed by lighting division manager, Urs Friis-Alstrup. He will ensure that the range is fully supported, with a high degree of service back up.
