AUSTIN, TX – Le Maitre has made two key appointments to its American team. Today the company appoints Randy Segeren as president of Le Maitre USA LLC, and Carissa Blackwell as operations manager. Segeren plans to expand the dealer network for smoke, haze and pyro and will increase production levels. Blackwell will help expand distribution opportunities.

AUSTIN, TX – Le Maitre appoints Randy Segeren as president of Le Maitre USA LLC. This is a “welcome back” to Segeren. He played a key role previously, when Le Maitre Special Effects was set up as the original distributor for the North American market 20 years ago, before the company began operating directly as Le Maitre USA LLC in 2011.
Segeren spent the past 12 years working for several top distribution companies selling lighting, sound and fog equipment, most recently at Erikson Pro.
Segeren plans to expand the dealer networks for smoke, haze and pyro. He will also be ensuring the company maintains its reputation for excellent customer support, expanding the service department and increasing production levels of fog and haze fluid.
