APTOS, CA – Radius Group announces Scott Dell will head up its Previsualization department based in Aptos, 10 miles south of Santa Cruz CA.

More details from Radius Group (www.radiusgroupinc.com):

For nearly twenty years, Scott has been a prominent Lighting Director & Designer. His experience extends across live theatre and music events, festivals, tours, and single-date productions of every size and scope, creating numerous designs on U.S. stages and abroad. His career began when he was named the “youngest lighting director on the las vegas strip” for “Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance” (1999-2001, new york-new york hotel & casino, las vegas).

Scotts career highlights also include 2013-2014 Lighting Designer and Programmer for SLASH featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators “WORLD ON FIRE” EU-UK Tour, programmer for the original “Tribute to the Light” at the World Trade Center Memorial in 2002. Scott is in high demand, having recently worked on such productions as “Paramount Rocks” on the Paramount Studios lot and Criss Angel’s “Believe” (Luxor Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas).

The advantage of lighting previsualization is that it allows Directors and Designers to experiment with different lighting options, creating looks and editing scene’s before loading in the actual event production, thus, reducing costs by minimizing on-site programming. Combined with 3D models, music, dialogue and sound effects, Previsualizations closely emulate the look of fully produced shows with the actual lighting looks, including colors, textures, patterns, animations and intensity.

Scott will integrate into a premiere Event Architect firm which boasts over 100 years of combined management experience in live events, productions, concerts, TV broadcasts, Galas with Event Architects, Producers, Directors and Designers, Technicians, Roadies and Crew.
