Shockwave Cargo Names Doug Masterson Managing Partner

LOS ANGELES — Shockwave Cargo named Doug Masterson managing partner. Masterson has over 18 years of project logistics experience including his role at Rock-It Cargo as former president and COO. Masterson has served on the board of three companies and was production director for the 2007 Jack FM tour. Masterson also helped run The Academic Advantage, a one-on-one tutoring company for underprivileged kids.

Masterson, a graduate of the University of Southern California and UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, is a partner in Serious Dog Films, which produced the full length feature film, Would I Lie To You? 

The three companies where he has served on the board include Showpower, a portable power generation firm, as well as Rock-It Air Charter, a passenger air charter brokerage company. 

The 2007 Jack FM tour, where he acted as production director for the 2007 Jack FM tour, featured ZZ Top, The Pretenders and The Stray Cats, among other acts. 

The Academic Advantage, which Masterson helped run, is a one-on-one tutoring company catering to underprivileged children encompassed by the No Child Left Behind act.
