Showcall Names Spencer E. Geissinger, Christie Riley to New Posts

WASHINGTON, DC — Showcall, Inc. noted that Spencer E. Geissinger (pictured here), an event executive who also has experience as an official with the White House and U.S. State Department, has joined the company as director for global business development. Showcall also promoted Christie Riley (pictured below) from administrative assistant to associate account manager.

WASHINGTON, DC — Leading event management firm, Showcall, Inc. announced today that international event executive and former White House and US State Department official Spencer E. Geissinger has joined the company as a Director for Global Business Development and Christie Riley is promoted from Administrative Assistant to Associate Account Manager.

Most recently in government, Mr. Geissinger served as Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States at the White House, where he oversaw all aspects of the development and execution of presidential domestic and international travel and events and was responsible for the coordination between the White House staff, the White House Military Office including Air Force One, Marine One, and the White House Communications Agency, the Secret Service, and other U.S. Government agencies that support the White House and the President.

Mr. Geissinger’s other Government positions include service as Assistant Chief of U.S. Protocol from 2001 — 2003, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the State Department’s 2004 G-8 Summit Planning Committee, and Special Assistant to the President for Press Advance. He has traveled with two U.S. Presidents to over 100 countries and was hand-selected for the team that planned and executed a presidential clandestine trips to Al Anbar Province, Iraq in 2007 and in 2008 to Kabul Afghanistan, two of a limited number of secret trips to warzones in the history of the American Presidency. Mr. Geissinger also served as the Gubernatorial Deputy Campaign Manager and later served as Director of External Affairs for the Governor of Florida.

Christie RileyMs. Riley gained an introduction to logistics support at an entertainment agency prior to joining Showcall. In the last two and a half years at Showcall, Ms. Riley has honed and developed her skills in the event production field. As an Administrative Assistant at Showcall, Christie supported all aspects of event operations at Showcall, including all travel booking and management, event credentialing, event and uniform apparel orders, social media and other marketing efforts as well as a myriad of other event related activities.
