ST. LOUIS – Swank Audio Visuals was honored June 14 as Supplier Partner of the Year by the St. Louis Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI). On the same occasion, Lisa Schmidt, director of business development for Swank’s Event Services division, received a scholarship to attend MPI’s World Education Congress.

ST. LOUIS — Swank Audio Visuals was honored June 14 as Supplier Partner of the Year by the St. Louis Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
Tom Koch, Swank’s Regional Manager for the Missouri area, said, “Swank is the in-house audio visual provider for 14 properties in St. Louis, and we take great pride in treating our customers with a hospitality approach and striving to exceed their expectations. Swank was founded and is based in St. Louis, and we are celebrating our 75th anniversary this year. So this award from MPI St. Louis means even more during such a celebratory year within our company.”
MPI St. Louis recognized Swank as a “well-known name in the community” and for its continuous support of their organization, through a strategic partnership to enhance membership, showing a strong representation at MPI events, volunteering for MPI, serving as a resource for their planners and suppliers and visibly contributing to the growth of both MPI and the community.
It was a night for celebrations as on the same occasion, Lisa Schmidt, Director of Business Development for Swank’s Event Services division, received a scholarship from Ungerboeck Systems International to fund her trip to MPI’s World Education Congress.
