WAARDAMME, Belgium – Tait Technologies, the joint venture between Tait Towers and Frederic Opsomer's System Technologies' team, announced the launch of its rental division, which is headed by Dirk Dhulster. "The activation of our rental division is another milestone in the deployment of Tait Technologies' full range of activities throughout Europe," noted Opsomer, the company's CEO.
Dhulster, an industrial engineer, has more than 20 years experience in the industry.
"Tait Towers is excited about the operation in Europe," said James Fairorth, CEO of Tait Towers. "Frederic has organized a great team in Belgium who have become quite familiar with our system over the past few months. We will have a wide variety of products in stock to help solve the problems of various productions. The European operation will have the full support of all of our resources here in Lititz," Fairorth added
"Tait stages are very popular in the entertainment industry," said Dhulster. "They offer a very specific way of building a stage that makes them space saving, reliable, easier and faster to build.
"Until now, if they were spec'ed for international or European projects, they had to be flown in from the U.S.," Dhulster added. "Now they will be housed here permanently, ready to go at a moment's notice, and that means a significant cost saving in terms of transport and shipping."
Tait Technologies was launched in Jan. 2010, and has supported tours for Bon Jovi and A-Ha, among others. It will also support upcoming shows for Roger Waters and Christopher May.
