Tomcat Names Scott Johnson President, Will Todd COO

KNOXVILLE, TN — Milos Group’s Tomcat subsidiary named Scott Johnson president/CEO. Johnson joined Tomcat in 2011 as a project manager before being promoted to VP of Design. Prior to Tomcat, Johnson served 11 years at James Thomas Engineering. He takes over for Mike Garl. Will Todd, who had been named a project manager for the company in 2000 and has served for the last five years as product support manager, was named COO.

KNOXVILLE, TN — TOMCAT, a market leader in the fabrication of aluminum truss, structural components and custom stages for the entertainment, audiovisual, exhibition and worship industries and a brand of The Milos Group, is pleased to announce it has appointed Scott Johnson as the company’s new President/CEO. Johnson, who came to TOMCAT in 2011 as a project manager then as VP of Design, now takes over for Mike Garl. Scott now takes over management of daily operations and the continued growth of the TOMCAT brand worldwide. He will continue to ensure the quality and innovation that TOMCAT was founded on.

Prior to joining TOMCAT, Johnson also served 11 years at James Thomas Engineering in design and later as VP of Design.

Will Todd, Tomcat COOWill Todd moves into the COO position for TOMCAT after serving the last 5 years as Product Support Manager and as a Project Manager since 2000. He also serves on the E1.2 (Design, Manufacture and use of Aluminum Truss and Towers) and E1.39 (Selection and Use of Personal Fall Arrest Systems on Portable Structures Used in the Entertainment Industry) committees for PLASA.
