LONDON – White Light has been named exclusive U.K. distributor for i-Pix, manufacturer of the BB- and Satellite low-energy LED fixtures. In the five years since the company's creation, i-Pix's products have grown in popularity with lighting designers for concerts and live events, used with Radiohead's 2008 world tour and as a key element of the Kick Off Celebration Concert for the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa.
The current i-Pix product line-up includes the BB1 "building block" modular LED light-source, the BB4 LED washlight, the BB7 beamlight/washlight fixture and the Satellite. All have been designed for bright colors and output, smooth fading, reliability, ease of setup (with combined power-data cable options for daisy-chaining fixtures) and versatile rigging options.
"In our five year history, we have doubled our revenues year on year, and both our product range and expertise have increased," said i-Pix founder Chris Ewington, who credited White Light for "superb sales and support teams. While we will always be here to support our users and listen to their needs," Ewington added, "we are greatly looking forward to working with Peter Threadgold and his team at White Light."
"Chris and his team at i-Pix have created a versatile range of LED lighting fixtures that have offered lighting designers untold new creative possibilities, that have already been involved in many remarkable lighting designs" said Threadgold, who is White Light's sales director.
The new distribution agreement was announced at the 2010 ABTT Show.
