Designed for use with the HDBaseT global transmission standard of ultra-high-definition video and audio, Ethernet, controls, USB, and up to 20W of power over a single long-distance cable, the new ARD-1007A has a range of 330 feet with the use of CAT-6 cable. The ARD-1007A is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports EDID communication.

The Arista ARD-1007A features an HDMI Loopback output and, on the receiver unit, there is a 4-port USB hub, a 2-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet pass through hub, RS-232, and IR control plus Power over HDBaseT. The product provides integrator-friendly features such as IEEE standards-based PoE transmission for safety and compatibility. The ARD-1007A transmits video signals up to 4K/UHD with embedded multi-channel audio and remote power for the receiver. The receiver unit also serves as a 12VDC/1A power source to power remote devices when required.
The Arista ARD-1007A extends uncompressed HDMI video signals up to 330 feet at 4K (UHD 3840 x 2160) resolution while HDBaseT 5Play extends audio, video, control, Ethernet, and power over a single CAT6 cable. Additional features of the ARD-1007A include a line powering function that is compliant with Power over HDBaseT (PoH), and the unit has field upgradable firmware through mini-USB.
