“We had a difficult time finding a way to ship a single pair of gloves outside the U.S. at a rate that wouldn’t cost our customer just as much, or more than the gloves themselves,” said Gig Gear owner, Danny Shatzkes. “Using Asendia, we can now get a pair of Gig Gloves onto the hands of any of our customers around the world at a very reasonable price.”
As a young company, Gig Gear is still growing it’s dealer and distribution base and hopes to be able to further reduce international shipping rates by partnering with international distribution partners located in various countries and regions around the world. Says Shatzkes, “We eventually hope that we can secure distribution internationally so that we don’t have to be shipping small packages outside the country. We’d like for our international customers to be able to pick up their Gig Gloves locally or have them shipped to them from within their own region. But for now, we’re happy to be able to have a good viable option.”
