LAS VEGAS — High End Systems unveiled the new SolaTheatre, Hex and Quad fixtures at LDI 2016. The SolaTheatre is the first lighting instrument in the SolaRange family to feature completely fanless operation, making it well suited to the needs of studio and theatrical applications that require almost-silent performance. SolaTheatre brings the power of High End’s white light LED engine to television, film and theatre LDs worldwide. The Hex and Quad join Shapeshifter and Uno in the company’s effects lighting range.

‘WE ARE LED’
The 2016 LDI trade show will be held October 21-23rd in Las Vegas, and High End Systems invites attendees to stop by and see these new products on Booth #2215. The company will also be showing the SolaWash FX 2000, the latest addition to the SolaRange family, joining the revolutionary SolaWash FX 1000 and SolaSpot 1000 launched earlier this year. High End is also introducing SolaSpot Frame 2000 to compliment the 2000 Wash and Spot range, and showing their full line of Hog lighting consoles – the flagship Hog 4, the Full Boar 4, Road Hog 4, RackHog 4 and HedgeHog 4, as well as Hoglet and Hog 4PC, all driven by the recently released Hog 4 OS 3.5.0 operating system. The company will also be showing new features in development for upcoming Hog 4 software releases.
On Friday, October 21st, High End Systems will also be holding the finals of their annual Hog Factor National Collegiate Lighting Show Programming Competition. Hog Factor is a lighting programming competition aimed at university students, enabling them to showcase their programming skills while getting the chance to win their University a $20,000 scholarship and a Hog. This year’s Hog Factor finalists are The Fauxtons (Webster University), Hog Hushers (Carnegie Mellon University) and Los Monos De Muerte (Southern Methodist University).
