CLUJ-NAPOCA, Romania — Prolyte Group is reporting strong demand for its BGR70 truss, noting that the massive truss will be used as mainstage support at the Untold festival in Romania this summer, set for Cluj-Napoca, Romania in early August. The Untold festival takes place across various locations in the city, including the impressive 30,000 seat Cluj Arena stadium.

The festival brings in around 300,000 music fans across the four days. Untold has already made headlines by winning the Best Major Festival at the European Festival awards in its first year.
With last year building on the stunning debut, festival director Corneliu Ladin is looking to bring the 2017’s edition even further: “With the massive capacity and unique features of the BGR70 truss, we can create even more stunning designs, I’m really impressed by the design of this truss.”
BGR70; A low volume truss with extreme load bearing capacity
The BGR70 truss is designed to create large spans that can hold heavy loads. The BGR70 truss is 40% stronger and safes up to 35% transport volume, compared to similar conventional truss systems. Rectangular profiles create a truss that can be used for spans up to 45 metres, still allowing a center point load of 750 kg.
The BGR70 truss is extremely suitable as a mother grid, or to support a front façade for large sets, like on dance festivals. Due to its zero deflection, the BGR70 truss is ideal in applications with motion or LED screens.
Arena Events, based in Romania, has bought over 125 meters of the BGR70 truss, all of which will be used for the Untold Festival. More companies have either invested in the BGR70 truss or expressed their serious interest. Scenos Techninis Servisas from Lithuania and TSD Group from Argentina will receive their first batch in June. STS will use the BGR70 truss for rental purposes on several upcoming projects this season.
Furthemore Prolyte’s Heavy Duty Competence Centre CAST in Germany will organise a special BGR70 Introduction Event to introduce the BGR70 truss on April 27th.
