Modulo Pi is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Modulo Kinetic V7, the latest version of its high-end media server platform. A preview of Version 7 will be available at InfoComm 2025 in MayCo’s booth 7743, offering attendees an exclusive look at the powerful new features designed to elevate AV projects. Designing the next generation of media server solutions, Modulo Pi is pleased to announce a preview of Modulo Kinetic V7 at InfoComm 2025.

Modulo Kinetic is a fully integrated and scalable media server platform combining real-time timelines, an embedded live mixer, a 3D engine, and advanced show control tools, all within a consistent user-friendly environment. Version 7 introduces a powerful set of new tools and improvements, starting with a significantly improved 3D study environment. The upgraded projector database now includes 3D models of a wide range of projectors and lenses – including ultra short-throw lenses and lens shift – enabling more accurate and realistic projection studies and simulations.

The new V7 interface offers a more flexible and intuitive window management system, designed to adapt to the needs of complex workflows. With the ability to organize windows freely, and detach individual panels, users can fully customize their workspace. This modular approach is especially effective for multi-screen setups, where Modulo Kinetic V7 allows creative and technical teams to organize tools and views across several displays for maximum efficiency and comfort.

Further expanding its integration capabilities, Modulo Kinetic V7 now supports ISAAC, the powerful web-based application for AV system monitoring and control. The integration enables seamless communication and variable sharing between Modulo Kinetic and ISAAC. Users can, for instance, ingest media or update scheduling parameters within Modulo Kinetic directly from the ISAAC platform, streamlining operations and simplifying content management.

A major addition in V7 is a 3D auto-calibration module, developed entirely in-house by Modulo Pi. Designed for use in projection mapping and immersive environments, this optional module automates the calibration of overlapping zones and geometry correction for any type of surface.

Using Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras and projected test patterns, the system identifies the precise position and orientation of each projector. The software then calculates and applies the necessary adjustments to ensure a perfectly calibrated projection in minimal time. A preview of Modulo Kinetic Version 7 will be unveiled at InfoComm 2025, from June 11 to 13, in MayCo’s booth #7743.
