Stage Research's SoftPlot 9.2 is now compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Vista. A new HTML Help viewer displays SoftPlot Help documents on Vista and later operating systems. SoftPlot 9.2 also includes access to the older version of the DXF Import menu command for compatibility with certain types of DXF files. The Graphic Symbol Editor has been revamped, symbol line items can have individual color attributes assigned to them and instruments and graphic symbols placed on a drawing can be displayed in their object color or in colors defined in the Graphic Symbol Editor. The upgrade is free to those paying $195 for an extended SoftPlot subscription, or to those who have purchases SoftPlot within the past year.
