LAS VEGAS — For EMC World 2014, an IT conference held at the Venetian in Las Vegas May 5-8, LMG provided more than 500 high-resolution 3.9mm LED tiles. They formed a four-sided visual centerpiece for the show – with sides spanning 15 by 23 feet– and displayed live and recorded content from the keynotes and sessions as well as schedules and social media feeds for the event’s 12,500 attendees.

EMC World 2014, held at The Venetian in Las Vegas, is the premier educational forum and technology conference for EMC customers, partners and IT professionals. LMG has been working with EMC for several years to provide video, audio, lighting and LED support for the general sessions, breakouts and exhibit floors.
The LED cube became a focal point and central hub within the EMC World Village, a lounge and meeting area for attendees outside of the exhibits and sessions. Surrounded by hundreds of bean bag chairs for attendees to lounge and view the content, the cube displayed live and recorded content from the keynotes and sessions, as well as schedules and social media feeds. Content for the cube was managed and provided by EMC TV, VDA Productions, Incidium, HB Agency, and Spredfast.
LMG’s ultra-thin 3.9 MM product line provides an extremely high resolution and crisp display, with a 128 x 128 pixel pitch (per tile) for indoor applications, when seeing every detail on the screen matters. Weighing 18.7 lbs. per tile, the 3.9 MM LED series offers a standard frame size (500mm x 500 mm) for ease of design applications and area calculations, and was built for faster assembly time installation, saving on time and expenses during event setup.
“When you walked into the EMC World Village, the cube was simply a ‘WOW’ factor, and the 3.9 LED tiles were a perfect solution to create this stunning, high resolution display,” states Les Goldberg, president/CEO of LMG. “We have been fortunate to work with the EMC team for several years on this event, and pleased to offer the latest tools in our arsenal to support their creative visions.”
LMG has provided video, audio and lighting support for some of the world’s largest conventions and meetings, nationally televised events, international concert tours, and Fortune 500 company business presentations.
