Among the news stories generated by the cancellation of three out of the four days of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival this past weekend, one story may have been missed. Before the weather turned the 700-acre Manchester, TN farm into a muddy mess, the Thursday night line-up was able to hit the stage. The headliner for the night was Luke Combs, making Bonnaroo history as the first-ever country headliner. His two-hour set included welcoming guests, Miranda Lambert, Jon Bellion and Marcus King. An immense amount of production work goes into setting up and loading out a festival the size Bonnaroo, so to have to load-out under what were certainly very inhospitable conditions this year, hats off to all the crews!
