NASHVILLE – Up-and-coming country artist Elvie Shane has been performing a series of virtual concerts that are being live streamed on radio stations around the country. LD Keith Hoagland crafted a lighting design that makes use of Bandit Lites-supplied fixtures including Elation Colour Chorus 48’s, Elation SixPar 200’s and Showline SL Nitro 510C units.

LAS VEGAS – With great regret but a sense of the inevitable, Parnelli Awards executive producer Terry Lowe announced Aug. 10 that the Parnelli Awards event set for Jan. 22, 2021, will not take place. It would have been staged during the NAMM Show in Anaheim, which will also not take place as an in-person event due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

CARLSBAD, CA – On Aug. 10, NAMM announced that, while the annual NAMM convention will not take place as an in-person event at the Anaheim Convention Center as usual this January, the association is launching Believe in Music, to be held over a week in January, with a mix of programming and professional education at BelieveinMusic.tv.

SUNRISE, FL – Chauvet has doubled its capacity to serve customers in the west region of the U.S. by opening a 35,000-square-foot satellite facility in Las Vegas. The new office/warehouse/service center complex in Las Vegas is twice the size of the company’s previous West Coast satellite facility in Burbank, CA. The Las Vegas facility will now replace the Burbank facility, Chauvet noted, in an announcement on Aug 10.
