TLS Productions Uses Elation Lighting on Award-winning Toyota Booth at CES

LAS VEGAS – In January, Toyota unveiled its futuristic Concept-i vehicle at the CES consumer electronics show at an award-winning booth lit using Elation Professional Platinum FLX™ hybrid moving heads and Colour Chorus™ series LED battens. Lighting and rigging was provided by TLS Productions, Inc. who also created the lighting design for the booth. Held January 5-8 in Las Vegas, CES is the place to see what’s next in tech and has always attracted the latest in automobile technology.

Aaron Watson Tours with Bandit Lites

NASHVILLE — Country artist Aaron Watson has been touring in support of his album, The Underdog, with a lighting package provided by Bandit Lites. LD Anthony McCoy turned to Bandit for a rig that includes Chauvet RH1 Rogue Hybrids, GLP X4S fixtures and Elation Cuepix WW2 blinders. The downstage risers are also equipped with Chauvet Épix Strip Tour units, driven by Resolume Arena from McCoy’s video server.

First Ever LED Ellipsoidal Shootout Big Success

BOSTON,  – In mid-March, 50 lighting industry professionals pulled on their boots and rode their horses over mounds of plowed snow to Boston to see the first ever Ellipsoidal Leko Shootout produced by USITT and hosted by High Output. Seven companies brought a total of 21 fixtures each hoping to best their competitors. High Output was happy to show off their new satellite shop and sound stage in Boston. The event was brain-child of Steven Rosen FIALD, President & Creative Director at Available Light, Dan Jentzen, Director of Education at High Output, and Anthony Phelps, Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at UMass Boston and USITT representative.

iHeartRadio Music Awards Lit with 500+ Claypaky Fixtures

LOS ANGELES – The 2017 edition of the iHeartRadio Music Awards, staged March 5 at the Forum in Inglewood, CA, celebrated the most popular artists and music of the past year, with the results tallied according to listeners of iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and the iHeartRadio digital music platform.  Jon Kusner, LD for 22 Degrees, used more than 500 Claypaky fixtures, grandMA2 full-size consoles and MDG theONE foggers/hazers for the recent show.
