LAS VEGAS – Five years ago, FTSI more than quintupled its space, from 5,000 square feet to a 27,000 square foot facility. The expansion allowed the automation firm to support effects such as those used for productions like Le Reve and Phantom of the Opera. The company recently doubled is footprint, taking possession of adjacent space.

BRISBANE, Australia – All Access Staging & Productions, with locations in Los Angeles, New York and London, has partnered with staging veterans Ross Butler, pictured here, and Jeff Lamour to provide Versa Stage systems and service to the Pacific Rim through a new operation located in Brisbane, Australia.

CWMBRAN, U.K. – Cooper Controls UK named Claire House brand manager for its entertainment brands, including Zero 88 lighting control products and State Automation dimming systems.

GUANGZHOU, China – PR Lighting has named Fons de Vreede to handle sales in Western Europe, operating out of The Netherlands. Ernie Armas, PR Lighting's international sales director, confirmed the appointment.

TEMPE, AZ – Barbizon promoted Mark Schneider, a five-year company veteran, to sales manager for the company's Arizona office.

AUSTIN, TX – Sean Hoey has joined Robe Lighting (US) as Rental/Staging Segment Manager. With 22 years of industry experience, Hoey has held similar positions with High End Systems and Vari*Lite. Hoey will be based in Austin, Texas, but will spend much of the time on the road visiting clients and demonstrating Robe products.

STAMFORD, CT – Rosco Laboratories named Wendy Luedtke product manager for Color and Lighting. Luedtke will focus on product and business development plus designer relations in color filter and lighting technologies.

DAYTON, OH – Staco Energy Products Company named Rich Zuccaro power factor program manager. Zuccaro, based in upstate New York, will be responsible for working with customers and reps to identify opportunities for cost savings due to power factor penalties and other electric utility billing tariff rates. In addition, Zuccaro will work with utilities to identify those which have incentives available to curb energy demand.
