GLP impression X5 Wash adopted by Leading Theater Lighting Designers

Two theater lighting designers, Paule Constable and Tim Lutkin, have both become early adopters of GLP’s new impression X5 platform—believing the powerful fixture to be a perfect solution for theatre designers, and setting the standard as a new generation for wash lights. Wenger Corporation Marks First Anniversary of Renovated David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center

On Monday, November 6, 2023, the Stage Managers’ Association presented its annual Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management at the National Opera Center Marc A. Scorca Hall in NYC. The distinguished 2023 honorees are theatrical production stage managers John M. Atherlay and Gwen Gilliam, and opera production stage manager Brett Finley. Sparks Theatrical Provides impression X5 Wash Lights to Trio of Top Designers

Three leading West End/Broadway theater lighting designers are using GLP’s new impression X5 Wash – all supplied by Paul Anderson at Sparks Theatrical Hire – to light current or upcoming shows. Leading the charge was Paule Constable, who originally requested them for Guys and Dolls at London’s Bridge Theatre. A Look at the Designs of ‘Wicked’ as it Celebrates 20 Years on Broadway

‘Wicked’ is celebrating its 20th anniversary today, having opened at the Gershwin Theatre on Broadway October 30, 2003. Directed by Joe Mantello, the show’s incredible design work and production elements have brought Oz to life for 7,718 performances on Broadway. Eugene Lee’s scenery; Susan Hilferty’s costumes; Kenneth Posner’s lighting; and Elaine J. McCarthy’s projections, are as spellbinding today as they were when the Emerald curtain rose two decades ago.
