MOUNT JULIET, TN – Chris Lisle Lighting Design named Aaron Luke production designer. Luke, a 2008 graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., has been involved with several national tours. As production designer, he will be overseeing several touring accounts and handle design work for lighting design clients and events.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Vaddio appointed Steve Johnson, a 25-year AV veteran, channel manager for portions of the East and West Coast regions. Johnson will concentrate on Vaddio dealer/integrator development, communication and support within his assigned areas (Arizona, California, Nevada, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Northern New Jersey, Rhode Island and Vermont).

FORT WAYNE, IN – Expanding its reach into the luminaire market, Apollo Design Technology has been named U.S. distributor for Multiform Lighting products. Apollo had also been named U.S. distributor for Spotlight Srl's Mini line of architectural fixtures late last year.

CWMBRAN, U.K. – Cooper Controls named Francois Barthelemi sales manager for Southern Europe. Barthelemi will manage France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey for State Automation high density dimming systems and Zero 88 entertainment lighting controls products.

BALTIMORE, MD – Particle Wave Creative has been formed and is being led by its principals Karen Hill and Hans Shoop. The company is focused on event management, production management, lighting and event design. It will have a regional focus on projects in the Washington, D.C., New York City and New England markets.

BURBANK, CA – ARRI named Michael Bravin vice president of market development for digital camera products. Reporting to Bill Russell, vice president of camera products, Bravin will be part of the team dedicated to the marketing and sales of ARRI's Alexa digital camera line throughout the North and South American market.

NEW YORK – TMB added Bryan Reiss, a 15-year industry veteran, to its North American sales group. His role will be primarily in customer development. Reiss is a graduate of Adelphi University with a BFA in Theater Design.

LAS VEGAS – Morpheus Lights named P.J. Turpin national sales manager. Turpin will be responsible for the sale of products manufactured by Morpheus and will manage the Morpheus product dealer network.

NEW YORK – Volker Bahnemann, president and CEO of ARRI Inc. and Camera Service Center (CSC), has announced he will step down from his roles at the company this coming spring. Bahnemann leaves with a legacy of 48 years with ARRI, 32 of which he served as CEO of ARRI Inc.

LAS VEGAS – Several companies in the lighting and entertainment industries announced recent staff changes and appointments, including Morpheus Lights, with new national sales manager P.J. Turpin pictured here. Other appointments were announced at TMB, ARRI and Solaris, and a new event and production management company, Particle Wave Creative, has been formed.
